TOTD: Hypocrisy of PAP's Minority Representation

PAP has tried very hard to justify its amendments to the Constitution with regards to the Elected Presidency. It has said that we should have "Minority" Representation for our Elected Presidency and thus, set up entry barriers to bar competition from other potential contenders.

However, the Elected Presidency is NOT about Minority Representation but a representation of National Interests in providing the necessary INDEPENDENT Institutional Checks and Balances to the Government of the Day in safeguarding our National Reserves!

Such lame excuses are typical of PAP and it is actually quite frightening. The Hypocrisy of PAP is further exposed when they demolish the very fundamental excuse of Minority Representation by denying that there is a need for by-elections if the Minority MP in a GRC has resigned or dismissed from his or her position!

There is no single doubt that whatever PAP has done or is trying to do is all SELF-Serving and we must be very worried now because we should ask ourselves, why would PAP go all length to prevent REAL Checks and Balances to be installed?

We are all hypocrites. We cannot see ourselves or judge ourselves the way we see and judge others.”
― José Emilio Pacheco, Battles in the Desert & Other Stories

If each and everyone is honest enough, we are all hypocrites. What hell world would it turn to if people speak what they thought to be the truth, not act the best at all times and be their natural self? War- Divorce- Enemies-Internet Bashing-Hatred-Rough Waters...............................................................................................................................................................................................No ending. Not easy to judge a book by its cover. To be safe say the things one wants to hear. And its called diplomatic or hypocrisy. Joy to the world.

A more tolerant and gracious nation

School is a place to learn ,not compete for results.

More home space to allow for families for stay over for time together or in need of temp help.

Happiness and health is wealth.

People shouldn't judged what others post on internet because of the one and only one-sided self bias whom only he/she is in control.

Roads are not for angry horns and punch-bags.

Pedestrian's should not have to have their mobile surgically removed from ears.

A beautiful country with less ugly people.

Safer lifts and not dropping ceilings and many many more.

Some of my budget wishes for Singapore 2017 and after; whilst they are not monetary they are very valuable: -

Smile, its contagious.

Being courteous costs nothing but will make your day and someone else's a lot better.

A kindness extended will make both the recipient and you feel wonderful.

Take time out to really smell the roses.

Whilst doing a good turn for a person may not be reciprocated but will make you feel better and brighten your day.
